Ballmer flicks Yang the finger by publishing his withdrawal letter to Jerry online. Quite a good read, and there’s humour value too as Rod Drury unearths by paraphrasing the letter. And you’ve got to love this article title from Techcrunch: “Yahoo Needs To Pull An Apple Before It Becomes A Netscape from the can-jerry-yang-channel-his-inner-steve-jobs? dept.”

Opening up the Flash file format

I love Flash so am really glad to hear Adobe are opening up the spec so anyone can not only generate files but create players for Flash too. I’m hoping this will be an important step in Flash becoming much more supported on mobile devices (maybe even the iPhone?).
