Over 5 years after it was initially launched, I’m happy to have a new version of Montage-a-google up for people to play with and enjoy. The new version has many of the features people have been asking for over the years.
- Saving montages – It’s now easy to download a jpg of any montage you create.
- Resizing – You can now make a montage as big as you like by simply resizing your browser window.
- Bookmarkable – You can now bookmark or send a direct link to a specific montage.
- Speed increases – I’ve been able to make many speed improvements with the port of the code to ActionScript3. Resizing and changing the tile size is now over 10x faster.
- UI improvements – Montage-a-google is now easier to use than ever.
I hope you enjoy playing with the new version of Montage-a-google. I look forward to your feedback.

Hi this one is awesome… Looks funny and makes me crazy. Thanks for sharing a nice piece of information.
hello, thanks for introducing this project, i was waiting all those days
great improvement over the old one !
I didn’t like the “guess the google” game at all. I got easily frustrated in the beginning because I wasn’t getting any of the questions correct even though I was fairly confident that I was getting them correct. And then in the end, it doesn’t tell you the answers, which I was curious to know.
Sorry to hear that Rachel. Maybe you should have another go. People seem to think it gets easier the more you play it. All the best.
Greeting, everyone, glad to find this site from google.
I also have my own project called “Eye See Run”,
and it’s an real-time dynamic montage.
Please give it a try, and tell me what you think:

Hi Grant -
Do you have any suggestions that can help me get into the business? Any feedback would be great.
First of all love your work. Very cool stuff. I have just completed a Masters Degree in Interaction Design at the University of Sydney. Having a background in digital design I think i have finally found my calling. I’m trying to develop a demo reel/ portfolio with hopes of getting into the mobile gaming industry. I have a real passion for interaction design and can’t sleep at night thinking of ideas
Keep up the inspiration…
Cheers,
Dave G
